It is quality living in a gated community without the worry of maintaining the large house and land or the restrictions of a full condominium. Are there things to do? You can be as busy as you would want to be. We have a social committee that plans events for all year round. Dances, Lobster boils, even a Jig’s Dinner are just some of the many activities in Minilakes. See the site for some examples.
Minilakes members have voted unanimously to proceed with changing from a 21 year lease, to Freehold Ownership with condominium elements. What will change? Really nothing, other than you will own, outright, your lot, just like a regular subdivision. We’ll still have monthly fees for maintenance of the community such as pool, pavilion, all common areas maintenance, roads, water and sewage. We’ll see these changes over the next year. Will it cost more? Not Likely!
